Example of 1-Way Rotation Control Circuit

Navigasi - Yesterday some of my fellow readers made a basic industrial electrical circuit for a 3 phase motor, that's why I decided to share my knowledge.

Therefore, this time we will review a 1-way rotation control circuit which serves to control an electric motor simply and safely for sure.

It can be seen from the wiring diagram above that the motor is only connected to a 3 phase current through a contactor, very simple, isn't it.

1-way rotation control circuit


Materials needed :

  1. MCB : 1 pcs
  2. Push button OFF : 1 pcs
  3. Push button ON: 1 pcs
  4. Contactors : 1 pcs
  5. Overload: 1 pcs
  6. Indicator light: 3pcs

Circuit code description


  • F : phase
  • N : Zero
  • MCB : MCB
  • OFF : push button OFF
  • ON : push button ON
  • NO : Normaly Open
  • NC : Normally Closed
  • L : Indicator light
  • K : contractor
  • OL : Overload

  1. When ON is pressed, electric current flows coil K2 so NO K1 will lock the electric motor will operate.
  2. To turn it off simply pressing OFF it will cut off the electric current in K1 and automatically unlock NO K1.
  3. The function of L1 is as an indicator of whether there is an electric current or whether there is an electric current coming out through the MCB.
  4. L2 functions as an indicator that the NO K1 lock is working or not.
  5. The L3 function as an indicator if there is an overload problem on the NO OL motor will connect it and L3 will turn on.
