This recovery program aims to manage the impact of petroleum from past operations which in most cases has occurred before waste management practices are regulated specifically in Indonesian laws and regulations.

According to CERI, it does not question whether the waste originates from the past or the past or the present management by PT CPI, but the law, including the current laws and regulations in this country (hic et nunc), requires PT CPI to be responsible for its current conditions before leaving PT. CPI on August 8, 2021, because after all, this waste is waste from PT CPI's business/production process.”

I hope that PT CPI can show -if there is any- an article of law that frees PT CPI from responsibility (acquit et de charge) regarding the existence of the waste that still exists and there is a lot of it.

2. According to PT CPI

PT CPI's land restoration program is carried out based on specific waste management rules and the progress of this recovery work is reported by PT CPI to the Government at the central level to SKK Migas and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry as well as at the regional level to DLHK Riau, district/city DLH, representatives of SKK Migas, ESDM Riau and other related agencies.

According to CERI CERI questioned whether it was appropriate or not according to the rules and so on -that will be a matter later-, but the result was the fact that there was so much toxic waste.

CERI is not asking about procedures or supervisory formalities and so on, but “the result of the procedure with all the formalities” is that there is a large amount of toxic and toxic waste, and PT CPI's responsibility for the existence of this toxic waste.

3. According to PT CPI

An independent environmental audit has provided validation that PT CPI is complying with applicable laws and regulations in the recovery program on behalf of the Government of Indonesia, as part of operations under the Rokan Production Sharing Contract (PSC).

According to CERI The independent environmental auditor's opinion is only an opinion/perspective, not a fact and what is clear is that there have been no investigative audit results.

The auditor may have a different opinion after the investigative audit. However, the fact is that there is so much toxic waste.

4. According to PT CPI

PT CPI is working closely with SKK Migas to support a smooth transition for all of Rokan's operations, including the remaining restoration work to the Government of Indonesia.(PT CPI).

According to CERI Hopefully PT CPI does not identify the Government of Indonesia with (persons or persons) Officials of Indonesian Government Agencies. The Indonesian government works only for the interests of the State, cannot go hungry and does not need money for itself, so it is impossible to perform malfunctions such as corruption. What for? State money corruption for the State?
